Managing Every Phase of Site Development

Excavation work involves more than moving earth—it requires planning around soil composition, existing drainage patterns, and the structural demands of what you're building. You'll know the scope before work begins, with milestones outlined so you can coordinate follow-up trades and inspections.

The process is designed to keep you informed as conditions shift or site features are uncovered. Documentation and on-site assessment guide adjustments, and schedules reflect both the season and the specific demands of your property.

Here's what you can expect throughout your project:

  • Raw land cleared and leveled to support stable foundations and proper water flow
  • Utility trenches excavated to depth and routed according to your site plan
  • Foundation excavation tailored to soil conditions and structural load requirements
  • Efficient handling of seasonal ground conditions common across western Wisconsin

We purchased a wooded lake lot in February of 2025. We started clearing the lot right away to try and prepare for a cabin. Shortly after we realized it would take us forever. We found the ad on Marketplace for excavating and said they would travel. We contacted Marvin and he was able to give us a quote by us sending pictures and telling him what we were wanting. Rain delayed us for a bit but by the time he got there he worked long hours to get it done for us. We were initially only going to clear the lot and do a driveway later (the neighbors were letting us use there driveway) but since we had him there he tagged on extra hours to put our driveway in- where no trees were yet cut. I would most definitely hire him again, or refer him to anyone. Marvin was so great to work with, great with the excavator and skid steer and not to mention a super nice guy!

We recently hired KithTerra Excavating to clear 3 acres of land, and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. The team was not only efficient and thorough in their work, but also incredibly accommodating—more than willing to lend a hand with a few unexpected tasks that came up along the way.

It’s rare to find a crew that's both highly skilled and genuinely great to work with. The folks at KithTerra were friendly, professional, and clearly take pride in what they do. If you're looking for dependable people who go above and beyond, I highly recommend KithTerra Excavating
